FrontCap Terms of Service

Last updated: June 7, 2026

The English version of this document is authoritative; translations are provided for convenience only.

These terms govern your use of FrontCap (the "Service"), a Chrome™ extension and related website operated at frontcap.net. By installing or using FrontCap, you agree to these terms.

The Service

FrontCap captures front-end UI elements locally and exports them as Markdown for use with coding assistants. The computed CSS and DOM values it exports are browser-resolved values, not the original author's source code. Content that cannot be reconstructed (such as canvas, WebGL, or video) is reported as a limitation rather than fabricated. To use the extension, you must sign in with a Google account; that account is used to start the trial, check entitlement, and associate purchases with your license.

Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial starting at first sign-in. No payment details are required to begin the trial.

Plans & billing

All payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, taxes, and invoicing; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.

Cancellation

You can cancel the Pro Monthly plan at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid period and is not prorated. Day Pass and Pro Yearly are one-time purchases — there is nothing to cancel; access simply ends when the purchased time expires.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, under Paddle's Refund Policy. FrontCap does not provide an in-app self-service refund button because refund requests are made through Paddle. To request a refund, use the link in your Paddle receipt, the Paddle buyer portal, or Paddle buyer support.

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the transaction date unless a different mandatory consumer right applies. Submitting a request within that window does not guarantee a refund; Paddle reviews requests under its own policy and applicable law.

If Paddle approves a refund, access to the refunded FrontCap product ends immediately. If a payment is reversed or charged back, access may also be revoked immediately.

Acceptable use

Your license is for your own use. Don't resell, redistribute, or attempt to circumvent the Service's licensing. When capturing third-party pages, FrontCap is intended for visual evidence and inspiration — not for copying third-party source code.

Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FrontCap is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior three months.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
